David Viner is currently a MERL Research Fellow conducting
a comparative study of farm wagons.
This builds on the work of J. Geraint
Jenkins in the 1950s and takes into account the many regional
collections that
have been established since this time.
David will be reporting on his research at a seminar ‘Relevant icons?’ at MERL on 20 March at 4.30pm.
Society members are welcome to attend this seminar at MERL
and to come along to a study session
which starts at 11.30am on the same day.
If you are interested in this event, contact Roy Brigden at MERL (r.d.brigden@reading.ac.uk or tel 0118 3788663) by 1 March.
