We are pleased to announce the conference for 2007. It will take place on 13-17 September in Swansea, Wales. The themes of the conference are Humanising Industrial History and International Trade and Local Identity.
This year’s conference will be hosted by the new National Waterfront Museum in the city’s historic maritime quarter. Accommodation will be in the nearby Swansea Marriott Hotel.
The National Waterfront Museum is the result of a £34m partnership between Amgueddfa Cymru-National Museum Wales and the City & County of Swansea. It tells the story of industry and innovation in Wales during the last three centuries from a human perspective and uses much interactive new media to interpret a wide variety of collections.
Further details are available in the Conference programme 2007.
